PIX’S NEW PREMIER LOOK

PIX have embarked on an extensive repackaging project across the range of their Power Drive metal power transmission products. The new livery will better represent the quality which is now synonymous with this brand, and will initially feature on the roller chain, and taper bush boxes – to be followed by the pulley range in due course.
The new packaging will start to “cut” into production during June, and will appear in ex-stock PIX Europe deliveries from September. The boxes feature the company’s corporate navy and orange colours, along with vibrant graphics depicting the products themselves.
Commenting on the new look, Stewart Booth, Operations Director: “The quality of the packaging now more accurately reflects the quality of the Power Drive products. This is particularly good news for our distributors – when selling to their customers, presentation and perceived quality is critical”.

Power Drive is the PIX group’s brand of metal PT components, which includes Roller Chain, Pulleys, Taper Bushes, Sprockets, Couplings, Tensioners, Motor Bases, and Bolted/Welded Hubs.

The organisation now has two manufacturing bases in China – Power Drive (Shanghai) Ltd, and PIX Hydraulics & Transmissions (Hangzhou) Ltd. The factories and offices are based in the industrial and commercial heartland of the country, about 200km apart.

Coupled with the extensive range of belts and hoses, produced at their factories in India, PIX now have an unrivalled ability to provide complete outsourcing solutions to OEMs. The growth of their manufacturing operation in China has also enabled them to offer bespoke forged, cast and machined products, to customers own drawings and specification.
