PIX EUROPE – SHOWING THEY CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS

Following their recent successes in achieving joint ISO9001 / Investors in People accreditation, PIX, once again, showed that they really do go the extra mile when it comes to looking after their customers.

PIX signed up to take part in National Customer Services Week – a yearly activity promoted by the Institute for Customer Services – from October 5th to 9th – www.nationalcustomerserviceweek.com .

The idea came from one of the company’s employees after reading about the initiative in a national newspaper. After extensive planning, the week was a resounding success, with a frenetic programme of activities – these included sending sweet parcels out with every parcel/delivery, special greeting cards sent to all customers thanking them for their support, everyone “dressing down” and wearing special t-shirts….. the list goes on!!

“It is easy, in a very busy organisation, to lose focus on the principle reason we are doing all the work” commented Stewart Booth, Operations Director. “We believe that this week reminded us all that our customers deserve the best, and that there is no substitute for excellent service. The fact that we had great fun with all the events and activities was a real bonus”.

Amy Barton, PIX Europe’s graphic designer, who first suggested the idea, was delighted with the outcome, “Everyone really bought into the idea, and we had a really great week”. She continued “The team here really do try hard, all year round, to offer an efficient, caring, and friendly service – so it seemed quite natural that we should celebrate this special week!”

The slogan for the week, emblazoned across everyone’s t-shirts, company stationery, the web site, in fact….everywhere, was “A SMILE WITH EVERY ORDER!” At a time when there’s not much in the news to smile about – this was such a refreshing change….!
